Featured - Fruits of Nature

My Pineapple Coconut Soap was featured in a wonderful Etsy treasury by "tomdesign". I'm featured frequently but this is probably one of my favorites - the colors are fantastic!

One of the things I love about being featured in treasuries is "meeting" the curator of the treasury and seeing what goodies they have available for sale. This time, I really hit the jackpot because tomdesign's shop is fully of lovelies! Just take a look at these great items:

White Flower Earrings - $12

Amber Shell Necklace - $18

Looking for a unique gift? Go check out all the other great items at tomdesign!

Happy Sunday!

How Many? # 1 -- WINNER: CLEOPATRA!

Update: Cleopatra is the winner! There were 617 buttons in the pile!

I just can't help myself .. I thought of this new contest today and was going to wait til Monday to post it but ... here it is, a few days early:

Take a guess at how many buttons are in the pile! Note: I added a green arrow in the lower right corner - that gray button is about the size of a quarter.

For a closer look, click on the picture to see a bit larger version.

Here are the rules:

1) You may only post five times with one guess in each posting so make them count!

2) First guess closest to the actual number without going over wins (and yes, I counted every single button! Whew!) .

3) Contest ends on February 20th at 7pm Pacific Standard Time. Entries after this time will not be posted/eligible.

What you'll win:
- a bar of oatmeal, milk and honey vegan soap
- a lavender scented sachet
- a sample of rooibos loose leaf tea!

Good luck, have fun and tell your friends!

Hugs,
Layla

New Product Packaging

I finally made up my mind - I wanted something simple that would allow the beauty of the product to show through while having my brand be front and center.

I just approached Molbak's to see if they'd be interested in carrying the Flowering Tree Botanicals product line and I'll be a nervous wreck until I hear back from them.

Wish me luck!

Hugs,
Layla

** ** ** THE WINNER OF MY OWOH GIVEAWAY IS "LADYBUG" FROM www.thelightifind.blogspot.com! ** ** **

***********************************************************************

I just learned about the most amazing blog called "One World, One Heart". A woman named Lisa Swifka is the author of this blog, as well as the host of this worldwide blogging event that is taking place January 19-February 12. Rather than me trying to explain it all to you, I'll share an excerpt from Lisa, the creator of One World-One Heart:

"The original idea behind this giveaway event was to bring bloggers together from around the world who may never ordinarily meet. It closes the gap of the blog community and enables us to interact, discover new and wonderful people, and in the process possibly win a prize or many prizes along the way...This is more than wanting to win something.......that is only the means.......in the end it's about finding kindred spirits."
